Committed to Service
Gene Hennen is deeply committed to uplifting the life of the community.
Beyond his work ensuring that building projects are done with integrity, flexibility and authenticity--Gene serves his community as a member of the South Hilo Rotary Club. He has served as the chairperson of the club’s community service projects and is currently in charge of the South Hilo Rotary Club’s efforts to install life saving rescue tubes at various beach sites around Hawai‘i Island.
Service is a family commitment as Gene's wife, Kathy, also gives of her time cooking for the homeless with the Peanut Butter Ministry.
